Since 2014, the Implementation Directorate has been leading the coordination and is the driving force behind the implementation of Budgetary Measures and other crucial projects outlined by the Office of the Principal Permanent Secretary. Entrusted with monitoring, steering, and coordinating the implementation process, we bring Ministries, Entities, and Public Bodies together to deliver efficient and effective services to citizens.
Our annual implementation cycle commences with the budget speech in Parliament, followed by our immediate allocation of measures to responsible Ministries. We ensure that each measure is firmly tied to an action plan for successful implementation. Monthly reports from the respective Ministries undergo evaluation against approved action plans, with follow-up meetings and on-site visits conducted for continuous monitoring.
Furthermore, we produce an analytical statistical report distributed to the Principal Permanent Secretary and all Ministries. This report offers insights into the current state of the implementation cycle of budgetary measures and key projects, fostering a collaborative effort within the Public Administration towards service excellence.
To conclude the implementation process, we publish a yearly report showcasing the work accomplished and the status of each budgetary measure, promoting transparency and accountability.
