Who we are


The Institute for the Public Services is a central body to People & Standa​​​​​rds Division, playing a key role in People Management and Development.  The Institute is the focal point and main source for the professional development of public officers and research initiatives for the Public Service in Malta.  The Institute has a pro-active and comprehensive agenda to foster the educational and vocational needs of the offi​cers working with the public service.   It has the scope to​ service and support the Public Service, as well as the broader Public Administration, by means of development and research initiatives which are aligned to public service values. The goal of a service of excellence is to be achieved in all spheres and at all levels o​​​f the services given to all customers, internal and external.
