​​The Institute for the Public Services (IPS) is pleased to announce the launch of the Summer+ Programme, a new initiative designed to offer practical work experience to full-time students pursuing studies at MQF Levels 4, 5, 6, and 7 during the summer recess.


The Summer+ Programme offers the following employment opportunities:

1. Public Administration

 

Positions available within various Ministries and Government Entities.


2. Foundation for Educational Services (FES)

Opportunities to work with FES in the roles of:

i) Playworkers

​ii) Child support Workers


3. Ministry for Gozo and Planning (Beach Supervision)

Employment opportunities in Gozo & Comino during the Blue Flag Season 2025.



Important Information:

Public Administration: 
1. Programme Period: from 1st July till the 30th of September 2025.
2. Working Hours: 20 hours per week.

Foundation for Educational Services (FES): 
1. Programme Period: from 1st July till the 30th of September 2025.
2. Working Hours: 20 hours per week.
3. ​The Foundation for Educational Services (FES) will contact the selected students to provide details regarding a mandatory training course, which must be completed prior to the commencement of duties.

​Ministry for Gozo and Planning (Beach Supervision): 
1. Programme Period: from 14th June till the 30th of September 2025​.
2. Working hours: between 10.00am & 6.00 pm on a 7-day roaster to be provided by the Ministry for  Gozo and Planning. Days of work normally ranges from 3 to 5 days a week.
3. The Ministry for Gozo and Planning will contact the eligible students for an obligatory training course that will take place after the 1st of June 2025.
4. Selected applicants must be 18 years of age or over by the 9th of June 2025.
5. ​Selected applicants must have a valid driving licence or if otherwise, commit to have his/her own transport to and from the place of work.
