This course covers the new Electronic Public Procurement System (ePPS) and the different stages of the procurement process through the system, which is the electronic procurement platform for the Government of Malta. In fact, the use of the ePPS is mandatory for all tenders published by the Department of Contracts and for all tenders published by Schedule III Entities that are above the EU thresholds.

Learning Outcomes
Describe the main functions of the electronic procurement system;
Define the role of the various procurement staff;
Demonstrate the use of e-pps for different thresholds;
Identify the tools and resources (such as forms) that are appropriate at each phase of ePPS.
Objectives
This course is targeted at those public officers who work in public procurement and carry out any of the activities of the procurement cycle from notification to the awarding of tenders. Participants must have reasonable experience in public procurement in order to reap all the benefits of this course.
